We advise that Kew General Practice has a new online booking system, AutoMed Systems. You can access AutoMed Systems via our website www.kewgp.com.au or by downloading the AMS Connect mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Once downloaded:
Search for our Practice
Click Select and proceed to enter your Date of Birth, First Name, Last Name and Mobile Number
Remember to tick the Terms and Conditions.
Please note that Kew General Practice now utilises a feature within AutoMed to send invoices to patients via text messages. An SMS is sent to all patients who have a mobile number registered with the Practice and contains a link to current and/or overdue accounts. When you click on the link, you will be asked to verify your identity by inputting your date of birth. You will then be able to view your invoice and pay online. Alternatively, you are always welcome to pay via direct deposit (banking details are on invoices), over the phone with your credit card or in person at the Practice.
Please be reassured that these texts are legitimate and they will ALWAYS come from the same mobile number – 0447 489 201.
This is the same number that will send you appointment reminders, clinical recalls and Medicare benefit assignment notifications for bulk billed telephone consultations. We encourage you to add this mobile number to your phone book as “Kew GP Notification” so you can identify and feel confident that the texts are coming from Kew General Practice.
