Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) immunisation

From May 15, 2026, free RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccines will be available in Victoria and across Australia under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) for specific high-risk groups. The vaccine being provided is Arexvy®.

Who is Eligible for the Free Vaccine (from May 15, 2026)

• Adults aged 75 years and older.

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults aged 60 years and over
